This little rainbow bee eater is one of two paintings I created of these stunning birds. How awesome it is to spot them amongst the canopy! While painting this I reflected on just how awe-inspiring nature is with its creativity. Such beauty in a tiny little bird! The reference photo I used was taken by David Clode from Unsplash.
This painting is 19.5 x 32.5 cm on 19mm plywood panel with a beautifully textured, leaf speckled handmade paper. Painted in oils.
Signed on the back and front.
Ready to hang with wire and 2 x D-ring hanging options fixed to the back. Sides and back have been painted white. Does not include frame shown in room views.
Please note that this work is on recycled marine plywood and the back and edges have a slightly textured/ irregular surface.
