I have a bit of a fascination with owls and I am often drawn to paint or draw them. I find them incredibly majestic and mysterious. I originally titled this 'Here is your Home' - the owl, symbol of wisdom, showing the way. The background is a bit of a map in my mind, mixed with the feelings of walking at sunset in the North of WA with loved ones, while the red earth glows and the sun paints the edges of everything gold. This painting holds a special place in my heart.
