This painting was inspired by all the pink and grey galahs who fly over our home and graze at our local park. They are such beautiful and whimsical birds. The eucalyptus caesia is just flowering in my neighbour's garden and perfectly complements the galah's feathers. I wanted to put two stunning natives together in one joyous picture.
