This is artwork is based on a large scale mural I completed in 2021 at Hollywood Private Hospital ED. The red tailed black cockatoos featured here were originally painted in acrylics and are over 1 metre in size. They are based on beautiful photographs by Keith Lightbody whose stunning photos of our birds can be found online. I have digitally re-created and painted this artwork including photographs taken of the mural.
