Rocket was a little angel. She came to us after she had been taken from a homeless person who could no longer care for her adequately as she began ageing. She had been loved but not well looked after. We got three years with her before she died. She was a sweet soul, gentle and cheeky and to me, pure love. I used to watch as the willie wagtails teased her at the park and think that her biggest regret was that she couldn't fly to chase after them. She used to sit on the stairs just like in the picture.
